A family home, in every sense.

A family-run home in the heart of Somerset, where a devoted team has cared for the community since 1989.

Our story

Run by a family, for families

Being a family-run home, we make sure that family feeling carries through everything we do. The day-to-day running is led by our CQC Registered Manager and Director, Joanna Marshall, alongside her brother Rob — our Financial Director, based in London — who visits regularly throughout the year.

Jo and Tom's children, Emily and Lilly, can be seen most days around the home, bringing energy and vitality to Castle House. We also welcome residents' own pets, and currently have three cats in residence, a guinea pig, and plenty of fish enjoying all the creature comforts we provide.

Among our staff are husband-and-wife teams, and even parents working alongside their grown children — all pulling together to make Castle House feel like a true home from home.
